The things I've occupied myself with between soul-destroying revision: sending Valentine's cards, trying to get my dog to be my valentine (he wasn't interested), visiting Yayoi Kusama at the Tat Moderne, sitting on my bed with a candle in the beautiful sunshine, reading I Capture the Castle and i-D, playing about with designs for this fabric, collecting my thoughts and starting a wee projet which I'm off to continue...

Making this short film recently, reminded me of Ralph Steiner's wonderfully hypnotic 'Mechanical Principles' from 1930 - I could sit watching it in a dark room on a huge screen with really good quality speakers on a loop.
